Thanks!  I will use your script and tweak it further to launch Aptana when it is called from a symbolic link of a different name.  Then since I use Quicksilver it will be simple to use.</description>

Not sure if you read it yet on the Apple forum, but some things do break when reverting to the 10.5.5 version of Carbon.framework. So now I switch between the 10.5.5 and 10.5.6 versions of this framework only when needed using a slightly modified script that Apple forum user LEgregius came up with. I have update my post http://kollerie.wordpress.com/2009/01/15/solved-os-x-1056-update-broke-eclipse-shortcuts/ to reflect this.</description>
